Delicious Rosé Tomato Spaghetti Recipe to Enjoy at Home
Create a wonderful meal or a special snack using leftover meatballs from your fridge. This Rosé Tomato Spaghetti is loved by both kids and adults.
Basic Ingredients- Spaghetti for 2 servings
- 1 Onion (small size)
- 15 Mini meatballs (Donggeurangttaeng)
- 1 bottle of store-bought Rosé tomato sauce
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
This recipe is a great way to use up leftover mini meatballs. You can make them from scratch or use store-bought ones. Thinly slice 1 onion and prepare 2 servings of spaghetti. (I mixed in ribbon-shaped pasta noodles for fun!) We’re conveniently using a ready-made rosé tomato sauce.
Step 2
Lightly coat a heated pan with cooking oil. Add the sliced onions and stir-fry over medium-low heat until they become translucent. Sautéing them until sweet and soft is key to bringing out their natural sweetness.
Step 3
Once the onions are translucent and tender, add the mini meatballs to the pan and stir-fry briefly. Since they are already cooked, just warm them through. If using frozen mini meatballs, it’s best to thaw them naturally before adding them.
Step 4
Now, pour the entire bottle of store-bought rosé tomato sauce into the pan.
Step 5
Simmer gently over low heat, allowing the sauce and ingredients to meld together beautifully. While the sauce is simmering, boil the spaghetti in a separate pot of water to save time.
Step 6
Fill a large pot with plenty of water and bring it to a rolling boil with about 0.5 tablespoon of coarse salt. Once boiling, add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions. Cooking times can vary slightly depending on the type and thickness of the pasta. (I added the ribbon pasta first because it has a longer cooking time, then added the longer spaghetti strands midway.) If you’re using the cooked pasta immediately, drain it in a colander and mix it directly into the sauce. If you plan to use it later, toss the drained pasta with a little olive oil to prevent it from sticking together.
Step 7
Add the cooked spaghetti to the rosé tomato sauce pan. Stir gently to ensure the sauce evenly coats the pasta, and finish by lightly stir-frying to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 8
Your delicious Rosé Tomato Spaghetti is ready! Enjoy it warm.
