Main Ingredients
- 1 handful of sausages (approx. 100-150g)
- 1/2 onion
- 4 slices of carrot (or 1/4 carrot)
Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp ketchup
- 0.5 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 0.5 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 pinch sesame seeds
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 Tbsp ketchup
- 0.5 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 0.5 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 pinch sesame seeds
- 1 pinch sugar
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare all the ingredients by slicing them into bite-sized pieces. Slice the sausages diagonally or into rounds. Thinly slice the onion and thinly slice or julienne the carrot. Since carrots are firmer than other vegetables, it’s best to slice them thinly.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat and add the prepared sausages, onion, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the ingredients are slightly softened. Once the ingredients are somewhat cooked, add 1 Tbsp of ketchup and 0.5 Tbsp of oyster sauce. Stir quickly for about 1 minute, ensuring the sauce coats all the ingredients evenly. Adding a pinch of sugar at this stage will enhance the savory flavor.
Step 3
Turn off the heat. Finally, sprinkle 0.5 Tbsp of sesame oil and a pinch of sesame seeds for garnish. The sesame oil and seeds add a wonderful nutty aroma, making the dish even more delicious. It’s best served warm!
