- 1.5 Tbsp corn syrup (oligosaccharide)
- 0.5 Tbsp minced garlic
- 0.5 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp water
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1.5 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp cooking wine (mirin, etc.)
- 1.5 Tbsp corn syrup (oligosaccharide)
- 0.5 Tbsp minced garlic
- 0.5 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp water
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Cut the dried shredded squids into bite-sized pieces (about 5-7 cm) with scissors. Gently rinse them under running water to remove any impurities. Afterward, drain them thoroughly in a colander. It’s crucial to remove excess water, as too much moisture can make the dish soggy during cooking.

In a deep pan or wok, combine 1.5 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp cooking wine, 1.5 Tbsp corn syrup, 0.5 Tbsp minced garlic, 0.5 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp mayonnaise, 1 Tbsp cooking oil, 1 Tbsp water, and a pinch of black pepper. Mix them well until evenly combined. Place the pan over medium heat. Once the mixture starts to boil, let it simmer vigorously for about 1 minute to slightly thicken the sauce.
