Main Ingredients
- 1 packet instant noodles
- 7 Vienna sausages
- 1/4 onion
- 1/4 yellow bell pepper
- 1/4 green bell pepper
- A little cooking oil

- 1/2 cup water
- 2/3 packet of noodle soup base (from the instant noodle packet)
- 4 Tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 cup water

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash the bell peppers and onion. Slice them thinly into matchsticks. For the Vienna sausages, make a cross-shaped incision on one end of each. This will help them cook more evenly and look visually appealing when served.
Step 2
Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the instant noodles and cook for just about 2-3 minutes, until they are slightly firm (al dente). Drain them immediately to prevent them from overcooking. We want them slightly undercooked as they will cook further in the stir-fry.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine the noodle soup base (use about 2/3 of the packet), ketchup, and water. Stir well until everything is dissolved and the sauce is smooth. Having the sauce pre-mixed makes the stir-frying process much quicker.
Step 4
Heat a frying pan or wok over medium heat and add a little cooking oil. Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, green bell pepper, and the prepared Vienna sausages. Stir-fry until the vegetables are slightly softened and translucent, and the sausages are lightly browned.
Step 5
Once the vegetables and sausages are nicely stir-fried, add the partially cooked noodles to the pan. Pour the prepared sauce over everything. Increase the heat to medium-high and stir-fry quickly for 1-2 minutes, ensuring the noodles and ingredients are well coated with the sauce. Keep stir-frying until the sauce has thickened slightly and everything is well combined.
