Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Wash the cucumber thoroughly, remove the seeds, and julienne it thinly. Peel the pear, remove the core, and slice it into thin strips similar to the cucumber. Slicing them thinly will enhance the crisp texture.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients: gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced onion, oligodang, and sesame oil. Mix well with a spoon until the sauce is smooth and well-blended. Ensuring all ingredients are thoroughly combined is key for a delicious sauce.
Step 3
Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and stir-fry until it starts to cook. Once the beef is browned, add all the beef marinade ingredients (soy sauce, pepper, minced garlic, cooking wine, sugar) and continue to stir-fry until the sauce coats the beef evenly. Cook over medium heat until the beef is tender and flavorful.
Step 4
Boil the buckwheat noodles in plenty of water according to package directions. Once cooked, quickly rinse the noodles under cold water to stop the cooking and drain them well. Arrange the drained noodles attractively in a serving bowl. Top with the savory stir-fried beef, the crisp julienned cucumber and pear, and a halved boiled egg if desired, for a stunning presentation. Serve with the prepared bibim sauce on the side and enjoy mixing everything together!
