  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 boiled chicken breast (or 200g chicken breast)
  • 1/2 stalk green onion, diagonally sliced
  • 1 red chili pepper, diagonally sliced
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • A little cooking oil
  • A little sesame oil

Seasoning Ingredients

  • 1.5 Tbsp red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cooking wine (mirin)
  • A pinch of black pepper

Cooking Instructions

First, prepare all the vegetables. Thinly slice the onion. Diagonally slice the green onion and red chili pepper; this adds a nice visual touch. Shred the boiled chicken breast along the grain. If the chicken breast has cooled, warming it slightly in the microwave will make shredding easier.

Heat about 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
