How to Make a Hearty Jjamppong Ramen with Pork
Introducing a Jjamppong ramen recipe packed with rich, savory pork and refreshing vegetables. This dish offers a deeper flavor and more invigorating taste than traditional Jjamppong, making it a special meal. You can achieve restaurant-quality taste with simple ingredients!
Ingredients- Pork (for stir-fry or bulgogi) 70g
- Napa Cabbage 2 leaves (approx. 50g)

- Green Onion 1/4 stalk
Seasoning & Others- Cooking Oil 1 Tbsp
- Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp
- Dried Red Chilies 5 (or Peperoncino)
- Grated Ginger, a little (or Ginger Powder)
- Shin Ramyun 1 pack (noodles and soup base)
- Black Pepper, a pinch

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Heat 1 Tbsp of cooking oil in a pan over low heat. Add thinly sliced dried red chilies, green onion, and ginger. Stir-fry gently to release their aroma. Be careful not to burn them; the key is to develop a fragrant flavor.

Once the aromatics are fragrant, add the thinly sliced pork and stir-fry over medium heat. When the pork starts to change color, add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce and continue to stir-fry, allowing the pork to absorb the flavor.

Add the sliced napa cabbage and onion. Stir-fry together until the vegetables soften and wilt.

When the vegetables are adequately cooked, add 1 Tbsp of chili powder for a spicier kick (optional, omit if you prefer less heat). Stir everything together well.

Pour in 3 cups (approx. 600ml) of water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the Shin Ramyun soup base and dried vegetable packet, stirring to dissolve. Add the ramen noodles, then cover the pot to help the noodles cook evenly.
Step 6
Continue to cook with the lid on for about 3 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked to your desired tenderness. Adjust cooking time based on your preference.
