Hello everyone! Today, I’ll be sharing a recipe for ‘Richem Kimchi Stir-Fry,’ an unexpectedly delicious combination of kimchi and canned ham. It’s simple but incredibly tasty.

First, prepare one can of Richem, one of our main stars. Open the can, take out the contents, and dice it into pieces similar in size to your kimchi. Dicing them too small might cause them to break apart during cooking, so aim for bite-sized pieces.

If your aged kimchi is too sour, you can gently scrape off some of the kimchi paste or rinse it briefly under water and squeeze out the excess liquid. Chop the prepared kimchi into bite-sized pieces (about 2-3 cm wide). They can be a bit cumbersome to stir-fry if cut too long.

Heat a deep frying pan or pot over medium-low heat. Add 2 tablespoons of perilla oil, and once heated, add the chopped kimchi. Stir-fry the kimchi until it becomes translucent and softens, about 5-7 minutes. To balance the sourness and enhance the flavor, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the kimchi becomes glossy.

Now it’s time to add the diced Richem to the stir-fried kimchi and cook them together. The fat from the Richem will render slightly, blending with the kimchi to create an even richer flavor. Stir-fry together for about 3-5 minutes, until the Richem is cooked through.
