Jjolmyeon Preparation- 1 serving of Jjolmyeon noodles
- 1 hard-boiled egg (for garnish)
- A small amount of shredded cabbage
- A few leaves of fresh lettuce
Spicy & Sweet Bibim Sauce- 1 Tbsp store-bought gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1/2 Tbsp sugar (adjust to your preference)
- A splash of vinegar (for tanginess)
- A drizzle of sesame oil (for aroma and richness)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, hard-boil the egg for your garnish. Wash the cabbage and lettuce thoroughly and shred them thinly into bite-sized pieces to maintain their crispness.

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the Jjolmyeon noodles and cook for about 4 minutes, or until they are tender yet chewy. Gently stir the noodles while cooking to prevent them from sticking. Once cooked, immediately drain the noodles and rinse them thoroughly under cold running water to remove excess starch. Drain them well.
Step 3
Place the drained Jjolmyeon noodles into a serving bowl. Arrange the shredded cabbage and lettuce attractively on top of the noodles.

Now, let’s make the delicious sauce! In a small bowl, combine the gochujang, sugar, vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix everything well until thoroughly combined.
