Key Ingredients- 1 pack of ‘Buldak’ stir-fried noodles (For extra spice, use the original ‘Buldak’ ramen!)
- 8 frozen dumplings (Choose your favorite kind! Kimchi or meat dumplings work wonderfully.)
- 1/2 onion (Adds a touch of sweetness. Slice thinly.)
- 1/2 green onion (Provides a fresh aroma and visual appeal. Slice diagonally.)
- 1 Cheongyang pepper (Add for extra heat! Remove seeds and chop finely.)
Sauce Ingredients- 2 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste – the base for spice and umami.)
- 1 Tbsp Jin Ganjang (Korean soy sauce – adds depth and balances sweetness.)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let’s prepare the vegetables. Peel the onion and slice it thinly into slivers. Wash the green onion and slice it diagonally into about 1cm pieces. Finely chop the Cheongyang pepper. Now, in a pot, combine all the sauce ingredients: gochujang, soy sauce, ‘Buldak’ ramen sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and water. Whisk them together. Bring this mixture to a boil over high heat, then proceed to the next step.
Step 2
Once the sauce is boiling vigorously, add the ‘Buldak’ ramen noodles (including the noodle block and the powder sachet) and the 8 frozen dumplings to the pot. Gently loosen the noodles to prevent them from sticking together. Let this simmer for about 3-4 minutes, or until the dumplings are heated through and the noodles are cooked. Keep an eye on the water level; if it reduces too much, switch to medium heat to prevent sticking.
Step 3
When the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened slightly, add the prepared onion, green onion, and Cheongyang pepper. Continue to cook for another minute or two, just until the vegetables are slightly tender but still have a pleasant bite. Turn off the heat. Your Spicy & Sweet Stir-Fried Noodles with Mandu are ready! Enjoy them immediately while they’re hot. For an extra special touch, you can top with a fried egg or some seaweed flakes.
