  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 Tbsp cream cheese (optional, adds creaminess)

  • 70g shredded pizza cheese
  • 3 Tbsp mayonnaise (heaping)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

  • Mayonnaise (for drizzling)
  • Ketchup (for drizzling)
  • 1 part sweetened condensed milk : 5 parts milk (optional, for a sweet glaze)

First, prepare your ingredients. For the toast, it’s tastier to use regular toast or corn toast rather than very thin sandwich bread. Shred the imitation crab sticks along their natural grain, and finely dice the onion into about 0.5cm pieces. Make sure to drain the canned corn thoroughly.

Finely dice the onion into approximately 0.5cm pieces. If you prefer a milder onion flavor, you can soak the diced onion in cold water for a short while, then squeeze out the excess water.

Gently shred the imitation crab sticks with your fingers along their natural fibrous texture. Avoid shredding them too finely; you want some texture for a satisfying bite.

In a large bowl, combine the diced onion, shredded crab sticks, drained corn, cream cheese (if using), mayonnaise, sugar, and about one-third of the shredded pizza cheese. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined. Feel free to adjust the amount of mayonnaise and sugar to your taste.
