  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 slice of processed cheese
  • Peanut butter to taste

Cooking Instructions

First, spread a thin, even layer of peanut butter on one side of a slice of bread. The peanut butter acts as a coating, preventing the egg from leaking out and adding a nutty flavor.

Place a slice of processed cheese on top of the peanut butter-covered bread. The melting cheese will help bind the other ingredients and enhance the flavor.

Now, spread a little smooth strawberry jam on one side of the remaining slice of bread. (You can substitute with other jams or honey.) Place this jam-covered bread on top of the cheese-covered bread, forming a sandwich.

Using a cup or cookie cutter with a diameter of about 5 cm (approx. 2 inches), firmly press down in the center of the bread to create a hole. This is where the egg will go. Press gently to avoid tearing the bread.

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter (or cooking oil) in a pan over medium-low heat. Place the prepared bread into the pan. Carefully crack two eggs into the hole you made in the center of the bread. Be careful not to break the yolks. Sprinkle a little salt over the eggs to season.

Slowly cook on low heat, flipping to cook both sides until golden brown. To ensure the egg is fully cooked inside, you can place a spatula (ideally one with a round shape similar to the hole) over the opening on top.
