  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 350ml water
  • Salt or soy sauce to taste

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, wash and finely chop the green onion for the soup. In a separate bowl, crack one egg and beat it gently until combined. It’s helpful to have all your ingredients prepped before you start cooking.

Step 1

Step 2

Pour 350ml of water into a pot and bring it to a boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling vigorously, add the 10 dumplings. Give them a gentle stir to prevent them from sticking together.

Step 2

Step 3

As the dumplings cook, their filling will start to release into the broth. Once the dumplings float to the surface and the soup comes to a rolling boil again, slowly drizzle the beaten egg in a circular motion around the edge of the pot. The egg will cook and create beautiful ribbons. Finally, add the chopped green onions and season with salt or soy sauce to your liking. Your simple and delicious mandu-guk is ready! Enjoy it while it’s hot.
