Super Simple Oyster Pancake Recipe
Quick and Easy Oyster Pancakes
Fresh, seasonal oysters are always delicious! We’ve already enjoyed them in oyster soup and oyster rice, and now, for any leftover oysters, we’re making super simple oyster pancakes. These are perfect as a quick snack or side dish.
Ingredients- 1 cup fresh oysters
- 2 large eggs
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
After a quick rinse, these delicious oyster pancakes are ready to be enjoyed dipped in a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce! Simply dip and savor. It’s incredibly easy, isn’t it?
Step 2
I’ve shared oyster cleaning tips before, but here’s a reminder: Place the oysters in a bowl and add a pinch of coarse salt. Gently swirl them around with your hands to dislodge any impurities. After that, rinse them a couple of times under cold running water until they are thoroughly clean.
Step 3
Coat the cleaned oysters generously with the beaten egg mixture. Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium-low heat. Carefully place the egg-coated oysters in the pan. Pan-fry them, flipping once, until they are golden brown on both sides. These simple pan-fried oysters, with their tender interior and savory egg coating, are incredibly easy to make and wonderfully delicious.
