Surprising Curry Udon Noodles
Baek Jong Won’s Amazingly Simple Curry Udon Noodles (Ramen) – Highly Recommended for a Weekend Special!
While we’re all familiar with curry rice, curry udon with milk is something entirely new! It’s not only surprisingly delicious but also incredibly easy to make, making it a perfect special meal for a weekend family treat. Its unique flavor profile is truly remarkable.
Ingredients- 200ml milk
- 2-3 tbsp curry powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 serving ramen or udon noodles
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare 200ml of milk for cooking.
Step 2
Measure out 2 to 3 tablespoons of curry powder. You can adjust the amount based on your preference for spiciness and saltiness. Be mindful not to add too much, as it can become overly salty. I used 3 tablespoons for a richer flavor!
Step 3
If you’re using ramen noodles, simply take out the noodles from the package. (Tip: Boiling the noodles beforehand allows for immediate cooking without them becoming mushy.)
Step 4
Drain the boiled noodles in a colander. This helps maintain a chewy texture.
Step 5
Now, pour the prepared 200ml of milk into a pot.
Step 6
Add the curry powder to the pot with the milk.
Step 7
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Milk can boil over quickly, so as soon as it starts bubbling, add the noodles. Keep a close eye on it to prevent it from boiling over!
Step 8
Once you taste this finished curry udon noodles, you’ll be wonderfully surprised by its unique and delicious flavor! You’ll be amazed.
