Ingredients- 2 slices of bread
- 1/4 medium-sized pumpkin
- 2 slices of cheese
- 1 slice of ham
- 1 handful of mozzarella cheese (approx. 30g)
- 1 teaspoon butter (approx. 5g)
- 1 small shot glass of milk or heavy cream (approx. 30ml)
- A pinch of dried parsley
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the pumpkin thoroughly, remove the stem, and cut it into four wedges. Place the pumpkin pieces in a microwave-safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap or a lid, and microwave for about 3-4 minutes until the pumpkin is tender. Once cooked, scoop out the seeds from the center.

While the pumpkin is still hot, carefully peel off the skin or use a spoon to scrape out the pumpkin flesh. Scraping with the skin on can allow it to blend into the puree later, adding a richer flavor.

Place the prepared pumpkin flesh into a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of butter and 1 small shot glass (about 30ml) of milk or heavy cream. Mash and mix everything with a fork or spoon until a creamy pumpkin puree is formed. You can add a tiny pinch of sugar if desired.
