Sweet and Refreshing Watermelon Punch (Subak Hwachae)
Easy Watermelon Punch Recipe with Milk and Cider (feat. Fruit Cocktail) – Summer Fruit Dish
Hello everyone! Today, I’m sharing a recipe for a sweet and refreshing watermelon punch, a perfect way to enjoy watermelon during the summer. If plain watermelon sometimes lacks a bit of sweetness, this recipe enhances its flavor by adding sweet cider, creamy milk, and colorful fruit cocktail. It’s fantastic as a delightful snack or a cool beverage to enjoy on a warm day. The preparation is incredibly simple, so definitely give it a try this summer! Let’s get started on how to make this delicious watermelon punch.
Ingredients- 1/4 Watermelon (approx. 800-900g)
- 250ml Cider (1 bottle)
- 350-400ml Milk
- 300g Fruit Cocktail (canned)
- Honey or Sugar (optional, for sweetness adjustment)
- Ice cubes (optional, for extra chill)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash and prepare the quarter watermelon. Remove the rind with a knife and then cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes (about 2-3 cm). Removing the seeds will make it even neater to eat.
Step 2
Next, open the canned fruit cocktail that will add flavor to the punch. Measure out the cold cider and smooth white milk.
Step 3
In a large bowl, place the prepared watermelon cubes. Pour in 350-400ml of milk and 250ml of cider. Add the 300g of canned fruit cocktail, including its juice. Adding about 10 tablespoons of the fruit cocktail syrup will further enhance the fruity flavor.
Step 4
After adding all the ingredients, taste the punch and adjust the sweetness by adding honey or sugar as needed. If you prefer it colder, add a suitable amount of pre-frozen ice cubes. Gently stir to combine all the ingredients.
Step 5
Voila! Your sweet and refreshing watermelon punch is ready. Serve it in bowls and enjoy this delightful summer treat!
