- Thinly sliced prosciutto, as needed

First, thoroughly wash the melon and pat it completely dry. A smooth-skinned melon like a ‘Munette’ melon, with a yellow hue and round shape, works beautifully. Slice the melon precisely in half.

Using a spoon, carefully scoop out and discard the seeds from the center of the melon.

Now, cut each of the melon halves into four wedges. This will make it much easier to handle and serve the melon.

We’ll cut the melon flesh to preserve its shape and make it easy to eat. Gently slide a knife between the rind and the flesh, almost like filleting it, then cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces. This method helps maintain the melon’s natural texture and appearance.
