Sweet & Refreshing Strawberry Banana Juice
Easy Homemade Strawberry Banana Juice Recipe – Frozen Strawberries OK!
Today, I’m sharing a recipe from early spring that’s a favorite for many – the beloved Strawberry Banana Juice! You can make it with fresh, seasonal strawberries when they’re available, or simply use frozen strawberries during summer and fall. Don’t hesitate to try it; I hope you enjoy this lovely recipe. ^^
Ingredients- 2 frozen bananas
- 15 fresh or frozen strawberries
- 200cc milk
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Gently wash the fresh strawberries under running water. For extra peace of mind, you can soak them in water with a splash of vinegar for about 5 minutes, then rinse again with cold water. Drain the washed strawberries thoroughly in a colander to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
If you’re using bananas straight from the freezer, they can be difficult to blend. To make it easier, let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to slightly thaw. Once they’ve softened a bit, slice them with a knife into manageable pieces (about 2-3 cm thick). This step significantly helps your blender work more smoothly.
Step 3
Now it’s time to combine all the ingredients in your blender. Pour the prepared strawberries, sliced bananas, and about 200cc of milk into a blender jar or cup. You can adjust the amount of milk to your preferred consistency.
Step 4
Begin blending the ingredients. Since frozen bananas can put a strain on your blender, it’s important to pause intermittently. Blend until the mixture is smooth and free of large chunks, taking your time to ensure a consistent texture.
Step 5
Check the consistency of your juice. If it seems too thick, add a little more milk and blend again until you reach your desired thickness. This creates a wonderfully smooth strawberry banana juice (or smoothie) with the perfect balance of creamy banana and tart strawberries. Enjoy your delicious and healthy homemade treat!
