Sweet Rice Porridge: Baby’s First Food (10x Dilution)
First Baby Food Recipe: 10x Dilution Sweet Rice Porridge using Baby Move Cookmaster
Let’s make a 10x dilution sweet rice porridge for your baby’s first solid food using the Baby Move Cookmaster! This recipe yields approximately 3 containers of 60ml each.
Ingredients
- Sweet rice 20g
- Boiled and cooled water 200g
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Measure out 20g of sweet rice. Rinse the sweet rice thoroughly under running water a few times to ensure it’s clean.
Step 2
Pour 200g of boiled and cooled water over the rinsed sweet rice. This amount ensures the rice grains are well-hydrated.
Step 3
Let the sweet rice soak in the water for 1 hour. This allows the grains to soften and absorb moisture, preparing them for cooking.
Step 4
Place the soaked sweet rice into your Baby Move Cookmaster and select the ‘Steam’ mode. Cook for 30 minutes. The rice will become tender and moist.
Step 5
Transfer the cooked sweet rice to a blender. Add any remaining soaking water to the blender as well; this will help achieve a smoother consistency. Blend on speed setting 3 until the mixture is very smooth and there are no lumps.
Step 6
Strain the blended sweet rice porridge through a fine-mesh sieve. This step removes any remaining hulls or large particles, ensuring a silky smooth texture perfect for your baby. Pour the smooth porridge into baby food containers.
Step 7
Allow the sweet rice porridge to cool to a safe temperature before feeding it to your baby. Once cooled, store it in the refrigerator for 2-3 days or freeze it for up to 2 weeks.
Step 8
Serve the cooled sweet rice porridge to your baby. Enjoy this nutritious and delicious first food together!
