Main Ingredients

  • Pasta noodles for 2 servings (approx. 160-200g)
  • Shrimp 6-7 pieces (medium-sized)
  • Onion 1/4 (finely minced)
  • Zucchini 20g (finely minced)
  • Carrot 20g (finely minced)
  • Corn kernels 2 Tbsp (canned or frozen)
  • Milk 120ml
  • Baby cheese 2 slices (low-sodium)
  • Unsalted butter 10g

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

If using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely under cold running water or in the refrigerator. After thawing, pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels.

Step 1

Step 2

Finely mince the onion, zucchini, and carrot into very small pieces. This ensures your baby can easily chew and helps the vegetables blend well with the sauce.

Step 2

Step 3

Remove the shells and devein the thawed shrimp. Cut them into bite-sized pieces (usually 1-2 cm) suitable for your baby. If using canned corn, drain it well using a sieve.

Step 3

Step 4

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the pasta noodles and cook for 1-2 minutes less than the time indicated on the package (they will finish cooking in the sauce). Drain the cooked pasta without rinsing it under cold water.

Step 4

Step 5

Melt the unsalted butter in a heated pan over medium-low heat. Add the minced onion and sauté until translucent. Gently sautéing the onions until sweet brings out their natural sweetness, making the dish more appealing to babies.

Step 5

Step 6

Once the onions are translucent, add the minced zucchini and carrot and sauté together. When the vegetables start to soften slightly, add the prepared shrimp and cook until they turn pink.

Step 6

Step 7

When the shrimp are fully cooked, pour in the milk and simmer over low heat. Cooking the cream sauce on low heat prevents scorching and ensures a smooth, creamy texture.

Step 7

Step 8

Once the sauce begins to simmer, add the cooked pasta noodles and corn kernels. Stir well to ensure the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce. Let it simmer for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the noodles to absorb the sauce and soften further.

Step 8

Step 9

Finally, add the 2 slices of baby cheese and stir until it melts. The cheese will thicken the sauce, making it richer and creamier. Adjust the amount of cheese according to your baby’s preference. Serve the delicious pasta in a bowl!
