Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana (large size)
  • 150g frozen cherries (pitted ones are convenient)
  • 4 Tbsp plain yogurt (adjust to taste)
  • 120ml milk (or almond milk, oat milk, etc.)
  • 1 Tbsp honey (adjust to taste, add more if sweetness is desired)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients for your smoothie today. It’s helpful to peel, slice, and freeze ripe bananas beforehand to achieve a perfectly chilled smoothie consistency.

Step 1

Step 2

Take out 1 frozen banana that was prepared earlier. If you slice it too small, it might be difficult to blend later, so slice it into appropriate sizes before freezing.

Step 2

Step 3

I’m using a store-bought frozen cherry product. Using pitted cherries makes the process even easier. If using fresh cherries, be sure to remove the pits before proceeding.

Step 3

Step 4

Place the prepared frozen cherries and frozen banana into a deep blender cup or bowl.

Step 4

Step 5

Now it’s time to add the flavor enhancers. Drizzle 0.5 Tbsp of honey and 2 Tbsp of plain yogurt over each the banana and cherries separately. The yogurt will help make the smoothie extra smooth and creamy.

Step 5

Step 6

Pour in 120ml of milk. You can adjust the amount of milk based on the quantity of fruit you’re using or your desired smoothie thickness. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk; if it’s too thin, you can add more frozen fruit.

Step 6

Step 7

Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, blend the banana until it’s completely smooth. Ensure there are no lumps for a velvety texture.

Step 7

Step 8

Next, blend the cherries to create a smooth cherry smoothie. Blend thoroughly until no chunks remain. The beautiful color of the cherries will infuse the smoothie.

Step 8

Step 9

In a clear glass, pour about half of the cherry smoothie first, then carefully fill the rest with the banana smoothie. This layering technique creates a visually appealing gradient effect. Your nutrient-rich frozen fruit smoothie is ready – it looks beautiful and tastes absolutely delicious! Enjoy.
