Tangerine Starch Pudding for Babies
Baby’s Delight: Easy and Delicious Tangerine Starch Pudding
Introducing a soft and refreshing tangerine starch pudding, perfect for your little one! Made without added sugar, this pudding uses the natural sweetness of fruits, making it a safe and healthy treat for your 12-month-old baby. It’s simple to make and serves as a great alternative to baby food or a delightful snack.
Main Ingredients- 300ml 100% Tangerine Juice (unsweetened, baby-grade)
- 90ml Mango Puree (baby-grade or homemade)
Thickener- 2 Tbsp Tangerine Starch (or Corn Starch)
- 2 Tbsp Tangerine Starch (or Corn Starch)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by pouring 300ml of 100% tangerine juice and 90ml of mango puree into a saucepan. It’s best to use unsweetened, baby-grade tangerine juice or freshly squeezed juice. For the mango puree, ensure it’s suitable for babies or use pureed ripe mango.
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons of starch to the tangerine juice and mango puree mixture in the saucepan. Whisk thoroughly over medium-low heat to ensure there are no lumps. It’s crucial to mix it well to achieve a smooth pudding texture later on.
Step 3
Place the saucepan over medium-low heat and stir constantly while cooking. The mixture will gradually thicken. The pudding is ready when it reaches a consistency where you can draw a line on the bottom of the saucepan with your spatula, and the line briefly holds its shape. Be careful not to overcook, as it might become too firm.
Step 4
Carefully pour the thickened pudding mixture into individual serving cups or baby food containers. Let it cool slightly, then cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set. Your delicious tangerine starch pudding is ready to be enjoyed by your little one!
