Main Ingredients- 1 pack Chicken Breast (approx. 200-250g)
- 1/4 Cucumber
- 1/4 Carrot
- 1 Egg (hard-boiled)
Dressing- 1.5 tsp Balsamic Sauce
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1.5 tsp Balsamic Sauce
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare one pack of chicken breast. If it’s still frozen, ensure it’s completely thawed for best results.
Step 2
Julienne the carrot by peeling it and cutting it into thin strips. Cutting them thinly will enhance the texture.
Step 3
Thoroughly wash the lettuce leaves under cold running water. Make sure to clean each leaf well.
Step 4
Place the washed lettuce in a colander and let it drain completely. Excess water can make the salad soggy.
Step 5
Wash the cucumber and then slice it thinly into rounds. Rubbing it with a little coarse salt before slicing can help remove any bitterness and make it crisper.
Step 6
If you have leftover corn salad, feel free to add it to your salad. It will add a sweet and savory touch, making your salad even more delightful. (Optional)
Step 7
Place the chicken breast and one egg in a pot, cover with water, and boil until cooked through. Ensure the chicken is fully cooked. (Boil for about 15-20 minutes).
Step 8
In a small bowl, combine 1.5 teaspoons of balsamic sauce with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Whisk well to create a delicious dressing.
Step 9
Once the chicken breast is cooked, slice it into desired portions. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat and pan-fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside, while remaining juicy inside.
Step 10
Flip the chicken pieces occasionally to ensure all sides are nicely browned and slightly crisp. This step adds great texture and flavor.
Step 11
Immediately transfer the boiled egg to cold water to cool it down. Once cooled, peel the egg carefully. Boiling for about 13 minutes will result in a perfectly hard-boiled egg.
Step 12
Arrange the drained vegetables (lettuce, cucumber, carrot) on a plate. Top with the pan-fried chicken breast steak. Finally, drizzle the prepared balsamic-lemon dressing over everything to complete your healthy and delicious chicken breast steak salad!
