Tuna Mayo Nacho Canapés
Crispy Nacho Canapés with Creamy Tuna and Melty Cheese
I created this recipe while thinking about how to enjoy CGV cinema nachos more satisfyingly and deliciously. It’s a fantastic way to elevate your snack game at home!
Ingredients- 1 can Tuna (drained)
- 2-3 Tbsp Mayonnaise (adjust to taste)
- Nacho chips (your favorite kind)
- Sliced cheese or Mozzarella cheese (your favorite kind)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the tuna salad that will top your canapés. Drain the oil thoroughly from the canned tuna using a sieve. Place the drained tuna in a bowl and mix in 2-3 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise based on the desired moistness and flavor.
Step 2
Next, get your nacho chips ready. For maximum crispiness, you can use them straight from the bag, or gently warm them in an oven if you prefer. Arrange the nacho chips attractively on a serving plate or tray.
Step 3
Now, place the cheese on top of the prepared nacho chips. If using sliced cheese, cut it into bite-sized pieces (quarters or halves) to fit the nacho chips. If using mozzarella cheese, sprinkle it generously over the chips. The melting cheese will help bind all the ingredients together.
Step 4
Finally, generously spoon the prepared creamy tuna salad onto the cheese-topped nacho chips. Use a spoon or small scoop to artfully shape the salad, making each canapé look even more appetizing. For an extra touch, you can sprinkle a little parsley flakes or black pepper on top.
