Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the corn kernels. Using a knife, carefully scrape the kernels off the cob. This adds a lovely sweetness to the salad, making it even more delicious.
Step 2
Wash the fresh tomatoes thoroughly and cut them into bite-sized pieces. If using cherry tomatoes, halving them also works well.
Step 3
Wash the sweet nectarines under running water. Remove the pit area where the flesh is attached, and then slice them into enjoyable pieces.
Step 4
Wash the crisp Korean melon (chamoe). Use a spoon to scoop out and remove the stringy seeds from the center. Then, cut it into bite-sized portions.
Step 5
Add the dried cranberries to the salad for their delightful sweet and tart flavor. Their chewy texture and refreshing tang will significantly enhance the overall taste of the fruit salad.
Step 6
Wash the apple thoroughly, even if you plan to use the skin for added nutrition. Washing with baking soda helps remove any pesticide residue, allowing you to enjoy the skin with peace of mind. Cut the apple into bite-sized pieces and add it to the bowl.
Step 7
Generously add nuts like cashews for a savory taste and satisfying crunch. They offer a wonderful nutty flavor as you chew and add a healthy element to your salad.
Step 8
Combine all the prepared ingredients in a large bowl. Add 5 tablespoons of Sweet Corn Mayo Sauce and gently toss until everything is evenly coated. If you don’t have Sweet Corn Mayo Sauce, you can make your own by mixing 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise with 1.5 tablespoons of honey, and optionally adding a little syrup or sugar to your taste. Mix gently to ensure the dressing coats all the ingredients evenly. Your delicious fruit salad is now ready!
