Watermelon Juice for a Refreshing Home Cafe Experience
How to Make Watermelon Juice, Seasonal Fruit, Tips for Cutting Watermelon
Making watermelon juice at home to create a cozy cafe vibe feels like a great idea, doesn’t it? On a hot day like today, shall we make some delicious watermelon juice?
Ingredients- Watermelon (as needed)
- 7 Up or Sprite (1 paper cup)
- Ice cubes (as needed)
- Sugar (1 tablespoon, adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Let’s get started with preparing the ingredients for our delicious watermelon juice! I’ve chosen 7 Up or Sprite for that extra fizzy kick. Feel free to substitute with plain water or another carbonated beverage based on your preference.
Step 2
First, thoroughly wash the watermelon. The shape doesn’t really matter, so cut it into manageable pieces that are easy to put into the blender.
Step 3
If you find it tedious to remove seeds, it’s a good idea to take them out at this stage. Of course, you can blend it with the seeds in, but if you prefer a smoother texture, it’s best to remove them.
Step 4
Now, cut the watermelon into pieces that are easy to blend. I’m going to leave the seeds in as I blend. If you dislike biting into seeds, removing them at this point will result in a smoother juice.
Step 5
Add the watermelon pieces to your blender and pulse a few times to break them down. Once the watermelon is somewhat broken down, add 1 tablespoon of sugar to enhance the sweetness and blend again. You can adjust the amount of sugar based on the watermelon’s natural sweetness and your personal preference.
Step 6
Add ice cubes to the blender for that extra chill and blend until smooth. Using ice will make your watermelon juice even colder and more refreshing. Adjust the amount of ice to achieve your desired consistency.
Step 7
Pour the blended watermelon mixture about halfway into your serving glass. Then, top it off with 7 Up or Sprite to fill the rest of the glass. This completes your delicious watermelon juice! You can also use sparkling water or plain water if you prefer.
Step 8
To make it even cooler, I’ve added a few ice cubes floating on top. It looks appealing and adds extra coolness as you drink it, so feel free to add them if you like. Beat the heat with this delightful watermelon juice!
