Ingredients- 150g Whole Wheat Flour
- 30g Espresso (brewed strong)
- 1g Salt
- 30g Unrefined Sugar
- 50g Grapeseed Oil (or other vegetable oil)
- 3g Baking Soda
- 30g Milk
- 1 Large Egg (room temperature)
- 50g Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- 20g Sliced Almonds (for topping)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Start by cracking the room-temperature egg into a mixing bowl. Gently whisk it until it’s lightly beaten. No need to over-whisk.

Add the sifted unrefined sugar and salt to the bowl. Stir with a whisk until the sugar is mostly dissolved and well combined with the egg. This step helps create a better texture.

Pour in the grapeseed oil (50g). Whisk until the oil is fully incorporated into the wet ingredients, ensuring no separation.
