A Delightful Homemade Fruit Juice Jelly Pudding That’s So Easy to Make!
This is a recipe I’ve always wanted to share! I chose jelly pudding because it’s something I feel confident making. π You can absolutely switch up the type of fruit juice for a different flavor! The ingredients are simple, making it incredibly easy to create this delightful treat.
Ingredients- 150ml Orange Juice (you can substitute with your favorite juice)
- 4g Sheet Gelatin
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, soak the sheet gelatin in cold water for about 10 minutes until it becomes soft and pliable. This ensures it dissolves smoothly.
Step 2
Carefully measure out 150ml of orange juice using a measuring cup or a scale. If you’re using a different juice, measure that amount instead.
Step 3
Gently warm the measured juice in a saucepan or a microwave-safe bowl. You want it warm, not boiling vigorously. Aim for around 60-70Β°C (140-160Β°F).
Step 4
Once the gelatin is softened, gently squeeze out any excess water from the sheets. This step is crucial to prevent the pudding from becoming too watery.
Step 5
Add the squeezed gelatin sheets to the warm juice. Stir continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is clear. Ensure there are no lumps.
Step 6
Carefully pour the dissolved gelatin and juice mixture into your chosen serving dishes, glasses, or molds.
Step 7
Cover the dishes tightly with plastic wrap. This is very important to prevent any refrigerator odors from transferring to the pudding, which can significantly alter the taste! (Seriously, fridge smells can ruin pudding π₯). Place the covered dishes in the refrigerator and let them chill until the jelly is firm and set, which typically takes at least 2-3 hours.
Step 8
Once the pudding is fully set, remove it from the refrigerator, peel off the plastic wrap, and voilΓ ! Your delightful, wobbly fruit juice jelly pudding is ready to enjoy. π₯³
