First, briefly blanch the grilled frankfurter sausages in boiling water for about 30 seconds. This helps to firm up the sausages and remove excess fat, making them more flavorful and less greasy. Once blanched, remove the sausages and pat them thoroughly dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, crack the egg and whisk it well to create an egg wash. Now, gather your main ingredients: the milk bread slices, the blanched sausages, and the cheddar cheese. With all your components ready, you’re set to begin making these delicious rolls!

Using a knife, carefully trim off the crusts from all sides of the bread slices. Removing the crusts ensures a softer texture when the rolls are cooked and makes them easier to roll up neatly.
