Effortless Homemade Milk Shaved Ice
Make Delicious Milk Shaved Ice Without a Machine / It’s So Easy and Incredibly Tasty!
This milk shaved ice is so delicious, I ate it four times in one day… haha. It’s truly so easy and tasty that I felt like I could sell it anywhere. ^^ I’ve been getting the ingredients delivered from the large supermarket and making it frequently. Please read the recipe carefully, as not all ingredients are absolutely necessary~
The Golden Ratio for Milk Shaved Ice
- 200ml Frozen Milk (Spread thinly before freezing)
- 1 Tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 5 Tbsp Red Bean Paste for Shaved Ice
- 1 Tbsp Strawberry Flavored Ice Cream
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
To easily break apart the frozen milk, spread 200ml of milk thinly in a resealable bag or a shallow container before freezing. If it’s frozen too hard, you can use a tool to gently break it apart. If you froze the milk in its original carton, firmly tap the corners of the carton, and it should break apart easily.
Step 2
Even if you don’t have any other toppings, just sprinkling about 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk over the shaved milk ice and mixing it is incredibly delicious. Honestly, I think I might just freeze milk from now on instead of using ice cream. (See cooking tips for more!)
Step 3
When the red bean paste mixes with the milk ice, it tends to look white, as if not much was added. That’s why I like to add more than 5 tablespoons! Of course, it’s still delicious even with a little bit.
Step 4
For the ultimate deliciousness, add a generous scoop of strawberry flavored ice cream on top of the shaved milk ice and red bean paste, then drizzle another tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk. Jelly is optional! Strawberry flavored ice cream can sometimes be hard to find, but vanilla flavored ice cream works wonderfully too!
