Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, trim the root end of the enoki mushroom. Gently separate the mushroom strands with your hands. Place the prepared enoki mushrooms in a microwave-safe dish and cook for 3 minutes to remove some moisture. This step helps achieve a chewier texture.

Step 2

Allow the cooked enoki mushrooms to cool slightly. Adding the seasoning while they are too hot can make the mushrooms mushy, so it’s best to let them cool down a bit before proceeding.

Now, let’s make the delicious sauce! Finely chop the scallions. In a bowl, combine 2 Tbsp water, 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp sesame oil, 1 Tbsp plum extract, 1/3 Tbsp sugar, and 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic.
