First, prepare the baguette. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and toast the baguette slices for about 5 minutes until golden brown and slightly crisp. This enhances their flavor and texture.

Prepare the pickled radishes for the crab stick salad. Finely mince the pickled radishes; this ensures they integrate smoothly into the salad. Chop them as small as possible.

You’ll need about 1/4 of an onion. First, thinly slice it, then soak the slices in cold water for at least 10 minutes to remove any pungent bite. This step makes the onion much milder and sweeter.

Step 4

Gently shred the 5 imitation crab sticks lengthwise. Avoid shredding them too finely; a slightly coarser texture provides a more satisfying bite. You can use your fingers or chopsticks for this.

Drain the soaked onion slices and squeeze out any excess water. Then, mince the onion finely, just like you did with the pickled radishes.

In a large bowl, combine the shredded crab sticks, minced pickled radishes, and minced onion. Add 0.5 Tbsp sugar, 2 Tbsp mayonnaise, and 1 Tbsp honey mustard. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined. Taste and adjust the amount of mayonnaise or honey mustard to your preference.
