Main Ingredients
- 1 slice of processed ham
- 2 fresh eggs
- 1 slice of processed cheese
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Seasoning
- A pinch of dried herbs (to sprinkle)
- A pinch of dried herbs (to sprinkle)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, preheat your pan over medium-low heat for about 30 seconds. Once the pan is warm, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and swirl it to coat the bottom. Carefully crack 2 eggs into the pan. (At this point, when the egg whites are just starting to set and turn opaque, as shown in the photo, it’s time to add the ham. The cooking order is: Pan – Oil – Egg – Ham. Immediately after placing the eggs in the pan, cut the slice of ham into desired pieces and place it directly on top of the eggs. Cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.)
Step 2
Place the slice of processed cheese directly on top of the ham. The residual heat will gently melt the cheese.
Step 3
Finally, lightly sprinkle your desired amount of dried herbs over the cheese for added flavor. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute using the residual heat. Your delicious Ham & Cheese Sunny-Side Up is now ready!
