1-Person Lunch Box Side Dish Menu for Busy Office Workers | Packing Lunch Box Tips | Recommended Delicious Lunch Menu (1)
Nowadays, many people are packing their own lunch boxes for work! However, deciding on the side dishes for a lunch box every day can be quite a challenge. To help ease your menu selection worries, even just a little, I’ve decided to start a series of delicious lunch box recipes. I’ll be sharing them one by one whenever I have the time. This first lunch box is designed to be both satisfying and full of flavor!
Main Ingredients
- 1 serving of freshly cooked white rice
- 2 pieces of abalone stir-fried with butter
- 3 ribs of soy-glazed pork ribs
- Hearty Spam and potato stir-fry
- Crisp seasoned bean sprouts
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Carefully score the fresh abalone in a crisscross pattern. Heat a generous amount of salted butter in a pan over medium heat and pan-fry the abalone on both sides until golden brown. For a more detailed recipe on abalone cooked with butter, please refer to @7025521.
Step 2
Boiling the pork ribs the night before can significantly save your morning cooking time. In the morning, coat the pre-boiled ribs with a savory soy glaze and cook until slightly crispy. Soy-glazed pork ribs are a great choice for lunch boxes because their taste doesn’t change much even when served cold. ^^
Step 3
Crisp seasoned bean sprouts and hearty Spam and potato stir-fry are excellent make-ahead side dishes. These prepared side dishes can be used for your lunch box for several days. The Spam and potato stir-fry, in particular, offers a delightful combination of savory Spam and tender potatoes. You can find the detailed recipe for this at @7025527.
