Nostalgic Pink Sausage Pan-Fry: A Simple and Delicious Korean Side Dish
Easy Recipe for Pan-Frying Nostalgic Pink Sausage
Taste the memories of childhood! This pink sausage dish is a favorite for both kids and adults. A simple, comforting side that brings back cherished memories.
Ingredients
- Pink sausage (appropriate amount)
- Green onion (a little, optional)
- Egg (1)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the pink sausage. Slicing it thickly will give it a great texture. I’ve cut mine on a slight bias, but round slices are perfectly fine too. Feel free to cut it according to your preference.
Step 2
Next, let’s prepare the egg wash. If you’re in a hurry, you can simply whisk the egg. For a more flavorful batter, I’ve whisked the egg and added finely chopped green onions. The fresh aroma of the green onions will enhance the sausage’s taste.
Step 3
Dip the prepared pink sausage slices into the egg wash, ensuring they are evenly coated. Make sure the egg mixture adheres well to the entire surface of the sausage.
Step 4
Now, generously coat the pan with oil. Once the oil is hot enough, place the egg-coated sausage slices in the pan. Pan-fry them until golden brown on both sides. If you’ve added green onions to the egg mixture, it might be easier to cook them by placing the sausage so the green onions are facing upwards rather than directly on the pan bottom. This prevents burning and results in a prettier fry. Once they’re nicely browned, your delicious pink sausage pan-fry is ready!
