  • A pinch of fine chili powder

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

For this camping trip, we’ve prepared the convenient Themis Artisan Ramen along with instant rice. The essence of camping is comfort and ease, isn’t it!

Step 2

We made a spicy hangover ramen for breakfast at the campsite. We took the mild Artisan Ramen and loaded it with bean sprouts and soft tofu to make it the perfect hangover cure. The broth, simmered for over 20 hours with real ingredients, is refreshing and easy on the stomach. The noodles, made with chicken broth, are dried uniformly at a high temperature of 130°C, creating air pockets that allow them to absorb the soup beautifully, resulting in a chewy texture.

Step 3

What could be a better camping breakfast than this? The basic ramen-cooking method is always the same, so today we’ll focus on the extra, generous toppings!

Step 4

Themis Artisan Ramen comes with dried shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, carrots, green onions, chili peppers, and garlic – the large, hearty dried ingredients were a delightful addition.

Step 5

Take a whole block of soft tofu and break it into large chunks with a spoon directly into the pot. This way, the soft tofu absorbs the rich broth, adding an even deeper flavor.

Step 6

Add a generous handful of crisp bean sprouts, followed by finely chopped Cheongyang pepper for a spicy kick. Finally, sprinkle a little black pepper and chili powder, and your fantastic camping hangover ramen is complete. Camping cuisine doesn’t have to be complicated!

Step 7

I’m usually not a big fan of dried noodles, but these Artisan Ramen noodles are truly special! They don’t get mushy at all; they absorb the broth wonderfully and maintain a chewy texture. They are so good that if they were sold separately, I’d definitely use them as a ramen noodle addition to other dishes. Please consider releasing just the noodles!

Step 8

Soft tofu for breakfast is pure bliss! Taking a spoonful of the hot, soft tofu that gently warms your palate and slides down your throat is incredibly comforting. It’s a breakfast you won’t forget.

Step 9

The combination of the creamy soft tofu, the texture of the rice grains, and the abundant toppings creates a dish that truly wakes you up in the morning – the ultimate camping meal. We highly recommend you try this unique camping dish, a collaboration between the fantastic Themis ramen and instant rice, enhanced with the richness of soft tofu!
