Spicy Chili Chicken Ingredients
  • 2 chicken breasts (approx. 300-400g)
  • Pinch of salt (for seasoning)
  • Pinch of black pepper (for seasoning)
  • 2-3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 carrot (optional)
  • 2-3 Tbsp Buldak sauce (adjust spiciness)
  • 2 Tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 bowl of warm rice
  • Pinch of sesame seeds (for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the chicken breasts thoroughly, then slice them lengthwise into bite-sized pieces (about 2-3cm thick). Avoid slicing too thinly, as this can make them dry. Aim for a moderate thickness.

Step 2

Season the sliced chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Once the chicken starts to lightly brown, sprinkle with a little more salt and pepper. This double seasoning helps enhance the chicken’s flavor.

Stir-fry the chicken until it’s golden brown and cooked through. Ensure it’s golden on the outside and tender on the inside. Once cooked, set the chicken aside in a separate bowl.
