Enjoy a healthy and satisfying meal or snack with this delightful Yogurt Meal, packed with crunchy cereal, fresh fruits, and creamy yogurt. Perfect for a quick breakfast or a nutritious treat, customize it with your favorite toppings!
Ingredients
- Grapefruit, 1/2 (about 1 cup chopped)
- Mango, 1/2 (about 1 cup chopped)
- Your favorite cereal, about 1 cup (e.g., Corn Flakes, Oreo O’s cereal)
- Cream cheese, 2 Tbsp (softened)
- Butter cookie, 1
- Blueberries (frozen or fresh), about 1/2 cup
- Yogurt, 1 container (100-150g, plain or Greek)
- Milk, 50ml (approx. 3.5 Tbsp, optional)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the grapefruit: Peel the grapefruit completely, removing all white pith. Cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces (about 1.5cm cubes). If you find grapefruit a bit bitter, you can soak the segments in cold water for a few minutes before using.
Step 2
Prepare the mango: Cut the ripe mango in half around the pit. Score the flesh in a grid pattern without cutting through the skin. Then, push the skin from the bottom to pop out the flesh, and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
Step 3
Start layering the cereal: In your serving glass or bowl, add a generous amount of your chosen cereal. This adds a wonderful crunch. Corn Flakes or Oreo O’s cereal are great options.
Step 4
Add cream cheese: Spoon about 2 tablespoons of cream cheese (or adjust to your preference) over the cereal. This adds a rich, creamy texture and a touch of tanginess.
Step 5
Layer the grapefruit: Arrange the prepared grapefruit pieces on top of the cream cheese. Its refreshing zestiness complements the other ingredients beautifully.
Step 6
Add the cookie: Crumble the butter cookie into pieces and sprinkle them over the grapefruit. This adds a lovely sweetness and buttery flavor.

Add blueberries: Scatter about 1/2 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen) over the cookie crumbles. Frozen blueberries will help keep your yogurt meal nice and cold.

Add more cereal variety: Sprinkle another type of cereal (like Oreo O’s) for added texture and flavor complexity. Mixing different cereals is a key to this delightful meal.

Add the yogurt: Gently spoon or pour one container (100-150g) of yogurt over the layered ingredients. Plain yogurt or thick Greek yogurt both work wonderfully.
