Simple Salad Pizza

Easy Salad Pizza Using Frozen Pizza & Air Fryer

I used a frozen Gorgonzola pizza from my freezer, topped it with a few cherry tomatoes picked from my garden and plenty of crisp, delicious lettuce, and made a delightful salad pizza. After crisping up the frozen pizza in the air fryer until golden brown, I cut it into four easy-to-eat portions. Then, I piled on the prepared vegetables, drizzled with sauce, and wrapped the pizza around the greens to eat. It’s incredibly delicious! If you don’t have frozen pizza, you can also use a tortilla, lightly bake it with some cheese, and then add your vegetables.

  • Difficulty : Anyone

Main Ingredients
  • 1 frozen Gorgonzola pizza
  • 6 large lettuce leaves
  • 7 cherry tomatoes

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the vegetables for the salad. Wash 6 large lettuce leaves and 7 cherry tomatoes thoroughly under running water, and shake off as much excess water as possible. Fresh vegetables taste best, so it’s ideal to wash them just before use.

Step 2

Finely shred the washed lettuce leaves and remove the stems from the cherry tomatoes, then halve them. This makes them easier to eat on the pizza.

Step 3

Let’s make a refreshing dressing for the salad! In a bowl, combine 1 (80g) container of plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of vinegar for tanginess, 1 tablespoon of honey for sweetness, and a tiny pinch of salt. Whisk everything together gently until well combined.

Step 4

Now it’s time to prepare the pizza. Take out one frozen Gorgonzola pizza from your freezer. I’m using a ‘No Brand’ product, but feel free to use any brand of frozen Gorgonzola pizza you have.

Step 5

Follow the cooking instructions on the product packaging. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F), then place the frozen pizza inside and cook for about 4 minutes until it’s golden brown and crisp. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model, so adjust as needed.

Step 6

Carefully remove the golden brown and delicious pizza from the air fryer.

Step 7

Cut the pizza into four equal pieces for easy handling and eating. Slicing it makes it much simpler to top with vegetables and enjoy.

Step 8

Evenly arrange the prepared fresh vegetables over the hot, baked pizza. Then, drizzle the homemade refreshing dressing all over the vegetables and pizza.

Step 9

Finally, drizzle balsamic glaze over everything to add an extra layer of rich flavor. Your fresh and delicious salad pizza is now ready to be enjoyed! Savor every bite.
