Ingredients
  • Costco Sous Vide Chicken Breast, 2 packs (thawed)
  • Carrot, 1/4 medium
  • Onion, 1/2 medium
  • Green onion, 1 stalk
  • Cooked rice, 2 bowls
  • Cooking oil (for stir-frying, generous amount)
  • Oyster sauce, 2 Tbsp
  • Ground black pepper (a pinch)
  • Sesame oil, 1 Tbsp

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Start by thawing the 2 packs of Costco sous vide chicken breast, which have been stored in the freezer. Place them in a bowl of cold water to defrost. Using ice-cold water can speed up the thawing process.

Step 2

While the chicken breast is thawing, prepare the carrot and onion. These vegetables will add sweetness and texture to your fried rice. Peeling and chopping them now will save you time during cooking.

Step 3

After about 10 minutes, the chicken breast should feel soft and pliable. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes. Finely mince the carrot and onion; dicing them small ensures they integrate well with the rice and other ingredients.
